When a plant adds, moves, or replaces a major piece of equipment, the install crew has to get a heavy machine — sometimes a hundred tons or more — into a tight space, set it on its foundation to mil-spec tolerances, and level it. That’s MIC’s lane. We rig, move, set, level, and align machine tools, skid conveyors, robot cells, and other large production machinery for automotive and heavy manufacturing customers.
Where this scope fits
MIC is the install contractor when a new machine tool is being added to an existing line and needs to be set on a fresh foundation, an existing machine is being relocated within the plant or to another plant, a machine tool, robot cell, or skid conveyor needs precision leveling beyond what general construction crews handle, or the customer wants the rigging, foundation prep, machine setting, and leveling all under one trade contract.
What MIC’s scope includes
Heavy rigging using house-rated cranes, gantries, hydraulic skidding, air casters, and roll-on systems; foundation prep coordination with civil; precision setting on anchor bolts, sole plates, or grout pads; laser-aligned leveling to OEM tolerance; final torque and inspection sign-off; and post-set equipment install ready for utility hook-up. We coordinate with the customer’s electrical contractor for wiring and the plant’s commissioning team for start-up.

Our crews have rigged and set machine tools, skid conveyors, robot cells, and industrial equipment inside active automotive OEM plants — Toyota, Honda, Stellantis, and Nissan campuses. We routinely work plant-running, in shutdown windows or off-shift handoffs, with the OEM’s manufacturing engineering team.
