MIC is a millwright contractor. Millwright work centers on precision machinery installation, alignment, rigging, relocation of individual machines or production lines, conveyor systems, robot cells, structural steel for equipment support, and equipment set-in. Multi-State Industrial Contractors is a heavy industrial installation company specializing in conveyors, ASRS rack systems, structural steel, overhead cranes, and heavy rigging work. We work for automotive OEMs, distribution operators, and material handling integrators across the Midwest and Southeast.
Our project base includes names most people in heavy industry recognize: Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Stellantis, distribution, and Daifuku. We have delivered over $28 million in projects, up to $10 million in scope.
Our standard scope covers conveyor, structural steel, equipment, material handling, or any item under Misc. Equipment Installation — machine sets, robot cells, safety guarding.
Leadership
Jeff Locher — President. Jeff leads MIC with 25+ years of field experience on automotive and distribution installation sites. His project-first, crew-first approach is the reason MIC gets called back.
Mark Sadorus — CEO. Mark oversees MIC operations and growth strategy, bringing executive leadership to the company's expansion across nine licensed states.
How we work
We are a field-first contractor. Our value lives on the site — the crews who show up, the supervisors who read drawings, and the safety program that keeps everyone going home at the end of the shift. We bid tight, schedule honestly, and do not take jobs we cannot deliver.
Licensed in nine states
MIC holds active contractor licenses in Ohio, Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky. That footprint is not accidental — it mirrors where America's automotive and distribution operations live. Our Service Area page has details on each state.
Safety and compliance
OEM sites are the highest bar in American industry for safety documentation and field compliance. MIC crews carry the certifications, orientations, and PPE discipline required to badge onto active automotive and distribution sites. Safety is not an afterthought — it is the gating criterion for getting hired back.
