Automotive Manufacturing

Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Stellantis, and Daifuku — MIC has installed conveyor, ASRS, and structural steel inside active automotive plants across the South and Midwest.

Automotive manufacturing is the majority of MIC’s project base. We have installed conveyors, structural steel, and equipment at Toyota and Honda plants, Stellantis Mack Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit and Stellantis Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Warren, and delivered scopes at Nissan Smyrna (NNAS), Marysville Auto Plant (Honda MAP), East Liberty Plant (Honda ELP), Honda Manufacturing of Indiana (HMIN), Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi (TMMMS), Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (TMMTX), Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama (TMMAL), Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA (MTMUS) in Huntsville, and Nissan Decherd Powertrain Plant.

We speak the language of integrators like Daifuku, Jervis B. Webb (now part of Daifuku), and the in-house teams at each OEM. Our crews know how to schedule around production windows, how to get the right badges and safety orientations on day one, and how to leave a plant cleaner than we found it.

Typical scopes

  • Power & free overhead conveyor (paint, assembly)
  • EMS / skillet / slat conveyor for body shops
  • Floor drop systems for chassis and engine marriage
  • Roll test equipment installation
  • Robot cells, weld cells, and guarding
  • Structural steel for expansion and mezzanines

Our standard scope covers conveyor, structural steel, equipment, material handling, or any item under Misc. Equipment Installation — machine sets, robot cells, safety guarding.
